TEMPORARY WORKERS
The temporary workers we provide undergo various stages of the interview and onboarding process. The initial pre-screening stages include checks to assess candidate’s suitability and previous work history.
Dependant on our client’s requirements this can exceed to previous employment history and include CRC. Upon determining suitability, a full registration process is completed including relevant competency testing and all eligibility checks. Temporary workers are also given a full site and role specific overview to ensure they have full understanding of their duties and responsibilities. They will be provided with their assignment letter confirming rates of pay agreed, location of work and contact details. They will understand pay and timesheet procedures, accident and incident reporting procedures, holiday and absence reporting procedures and expectations. We also encourage a buddy system for all our new starters.

TERMS OF BUSINESS & CLIENT ONBOARDING
Prior to initial supply our standard TOB’s for both temporary and permanent staff alongside confirmation of rates agreed will be sent in writing. Upon each placement a worker assignment letter will be provided.
TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT
All Vivian Rogue Associates recruitment temporary employees are provided with a contract for services. This contract confirms that complex recruitment will pay an agreed hourly rate for all authorised timesheets. PAYE deductions are explained alongside working time regulations about breaks, working hours, and paid annual leave. Within a contract for service rules for accepting any assignment are explained and include but are not limited to:
- The temporary worker must take all reasonable steps to safeguard their own safety and the safety of any other person who may be present or affected by their actions on the assignment and complies with the health & safety policy of the client.
- The temporary worker must co-operate with the client’s staff and accept the direction, supervision, and instruction of any responsible person in the client’s organisation.
- Rules and regulations relating to the client’s workplace must be obeyed.
- They must not engage in any conduct detrimental to the interests of the client.
COMPLIANCE AND VETTING
Where required we conduct in depth vetting and background checks in accordance with client specific regulations.
Our vetting varies in its depth dependent on our client’s needs and the body they are regulated by. Checks include:
- Previous employment history
- Criminal record checks – dependent on client requirements
- Right to work status checks
- DVLA licence checks – every 12 weeks
SERVICE REVIEWS
Monthly service reviews are conducted by an Operations Director to ensure service levels are to expectation. We conduct and in-depth review and look at fulfilment and retention rates, staff performance and productivity levels.
Worker wellbeing and HR support sessions are delivered onsite where possible monthly where staff are provided with a range of materials and support.
